Like the other reviews, I cannot say enough good about Dr. Hipp and staff. The dentist I saw as a child did not believe in using novacaine or gas and so going to the dentist was traumatic to say the least. When we 'aged out' of that dentist, we began going to Dr. Oleson, who relocated to WI. Dr. Hipp was my next dentist and I do not see myself ever changing. In fact, I dread the day he retires! He provides the best care, is up on the latest technology, and he truly cares about his patients. I have received calls in the evening or on weekends after having intense procedures from him and the calls were genuine-he really cared how I was doing. I have referred 13 people to him over the years and all of them still go to his office. You can tell he genuinely cares about his office staff as well. He fosters a fun work environment and happy employees make for a pleasant experience for all who encounter them. I will continue to refer others to Dr. Hipp. Also, the fact that he donates time to providing dental services for those who would otherwise not have care is a testiment to his character. I feel blessed to have him and his team keeping me in great dental health.

About Hygienist: I primarily see Lori and have been very pleased with her service over the years. She is thorough and believe it or not, taught me how to brush my teeth in such an effective way that my cleanings are always a breeze. We also have great conversations about all aspects of life. I recently made an appointment for a cleaning and was set up with another hygienist. After realizing it wasn't Lori, I told Lisa I would prefer to see Lori, as I have been seeing her so long it would feel like I was being "unfaithful" to see another! Dr. Hipp has been my dentist since my early 20s, and I have had crowns, fillings, bonding. He is skillful, always learning the latest techniques/technology. Of particular appreciation was the "single tooth" novocaine while getting a crown in the lower back--that used to mean my entire jaw was numb for hours, but the novocaine used for my last crown was hardly noticeable, and I felt no pain whatsoever. Dr. Hipp is on top of what's new, what works, and pays attention to individual patient needs. Office staff is top-notch.

I was referred to Dr. Sanford 21 years ago to put braces on my teeth when I was 30 years old. He has since retired, and Dr. Ryan has started providing treatment. The transition has gone great! I was impressed that they have been so thorough. They check for oral cancer, they check my lymph nodes, etc. I don't recall that ever having been done by previous dentists. I have complete confidence in my dental care. They even remember what I do for fun, ask me how I'm doing and actually really care to hear the answers! I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Ryan!

p.s. To be honest, I don't know how they compare price-wise since I've been going to them for years and have not compared prices and probably wouldn't go somewhere else based on price since service is so great. The setting is very comfortable for a dental office - are there any dental offices that are like a health spa? It seems to be very clean and they always wash their hands right in front of me before they put on a new set of gloves. Wish I could say that about my doctors!

Dr. Hipp is the best dentist I have ever gone to and I have recommended him to many friends. I had the crowns on my front teeth replaced. They look so natural. This was my third set of crowns over the years and the other dentists never came close to a color match or making them look so natural. I also has several other crowns done and replaced all my old silver cavities over a period of a few years. Now my teeth look so good and I owe it all to Dr. Hipp. I tell people that he is like an artist. In addition, he is so gentle and I never feel pain like I used to when I went to other dentists. The chairs have a heated massage pad in them and sunglasses and head sets are provide to patients to make them feel as comfortable as possible. it is a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff are all really nice. He does great work.

When I told this to the receptionist, she was so kind and understanding that I instantly felt more at ease. Everyone who works at this office is friendly and sweet and they are good at being honest without seeming judgemental. I (heart) Dr. Hipp and his entire staff. I have GREAT teeth and he tells me that if I keep up the great work, I'll die of old age with all my teeth still in my head. However, I had rather immature-looking teeth (they were small), so he built them up with veneers in front and I love my smile. It's lasted for several years and they look great.

Dr. Hipp is the best dentist a person could hope for, and everyone on his staff is warm, friendly, and caring. I've recommended him to several people, all of whom have come back to me with positive comments.

I found Dr Hipp through Doctoroogle actually and have been really happy. A bit about me, I hadn't been to a dentist in about 15 years and I was waaaaaaaay overdue. I felt comfortable and at ease pretty much at once and settled in for a lot of work to get done. He worked within my insurance plan as I started before the end of the year to get as much done as possible while it was covered. The first couple times I went, I took the nitrous and I've built up enough trust with him that I'm now fine without it. I've had cavities filled, a root canal, crowns, veneers, root scaling, and some other things done so far and they've all turned out great with minimal pain (I didn't even fill the Rx for pain relievers after the root canal). The hygienist and front desk staff are also friendly and efficient.

I deducted one "point" from the facilities however.It's such a minor nitpick. I've read reviews and talked with other folks who have had the flat screen televisions in the chair. Necessary? Not at all, they offer headphones for music and a massaging pad on the chair at this facility and top notch dental work. I'd rather have a wonderful dentist than 30 minutes of daytime programming anyway ;-)
