I have a 16 yr old daughter that has dentinogenesis imperfecta.she has had it since birth. she couldn't talk or form words so when she was 3 we did a full mouth resotration with crowns and the whole works. those have all since fallen out and with REGULAR dental care and cleanings, her teeth are breaking even when she eats the sofest of foods, her nerves in her teeth are so sensitive that she actually eats whatever she can to keep pressure on her teeth as thats when they dont hurt. eating foods that are luke warm, not cold or hot cooked foods. she just went to a dentist that said he knew about her condition and said he could work with her. he messed up . and bad.he pulled 3 teeth in one day and broke everysingle one of them , a few pieces of tooth still fall out of the areas he pulled. he filled a few teeth, and the fillings fell out, causiing more pain, now she is a junoir in high school, and she can't make friends, she wont smile, and she talks with her lips around her teeth when she talks so noone sees them. we no longer have insurance ,but are , and finaniacly able to make payments on a regular basis. she wants pretty teeth, and we can't find a dentist to work with her now.she is even cinsdiering dentures or something. if anyone is willing to work with us not having insurance and making payments regularly, and is KNOWLEDGABLE in this field and are POSITIVE they can help her, plese contact me , even if you know of one who can help us, white_angel134@yahoo.com. or call me 763-381-9241
Thank you , BobbieJo
